Fluids
Fluids are the easiest way to deal with a hangover. You need to consume a lot of water, coconut water or any sports energy drinks to wash out the alcohol out of your system. The more you drink, more sorted you will be.

Breakfast
It IS the most important meal of the day, specially after a heavy drinking night! If you wake up with a terrible hangover, make sure that you eat a filling plate of breakfast. However, try to avoid greasy food and go for something that is easy to digest. A good salad will work wonders.

Sugar
While you are drinking consume some sugar in the form of a dessert or plain sugar and this help you keep off from sliding into a bad hangover later. Studies show that fructose may speed alcohol metabolism, thus reducing the risk of a hangover. You can also try some orange juice in between your drinks.

Ginger


Ginger is a magic ingredient in the kitchen. It works great in reducing nausea and vomiting. All you need to do is to take a small piece of ginger and nibble on it after you wake up. If you have a feeling of vomitting while consuming alcohol, nibble on ginger for sometime and you will feel good.

Honey
Just like what sugar does to your body while consuming alcohol, honey too can help you beat the hangover. Mix a spoonful of honey in a glass of water and 'bottoms up' the next morning!

Sleep
The lack of sleep can adversely effect your hangover and hence you must catch up on a good, long sleep the next day. Sleep and then sleep some more. Give your body some rest after a wild night. Nothing beats a hangover like a good long nap.
