Ranveer Singh shares the first look of the much anticipated film 'Gully Boy- Apna Time Aayega'. Also starring Alia Bhatt, Zoya Akhtar directorial will be released on 14th February 2019.

The poster was also shared by Alia Bhatt and Farhan Akhtar. Gully Boy will have its world premiere at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival which will be held between February 7 and February 17.

Backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, Gully Boy celebrates the street rappers from Mumbai is said to be loosely inspired by the life of rapper Divine.

Talking about his upcoming films in detail, Ranveer told IANS, "I have just completed shooting of 'Gully Boy'. It is a very special story, one that I am closely attached to. It is set against the backdrop of flourishing desi hip hop scene coming out of Bombay (Mumbai)."

"It is the story which represents Mumbai in its true sense and the city is my home town, these are my people, this is my language so this is the story I am really attached to. It's an underdog story about a kid who broke through from great adversity in life to make it as a recording artist," he added.
It was reported, that the film will have its world premiere at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival.

Gully Boy also features Kalki Koechlin, Akanksha Puri, Vijay Varma and Ali Asghar.
