Samsung has slashed prices of two of its smartphones which are sold in India, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018).

Samsung has slashed prices of two of its smartphones which are sold in India, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). After the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) now starts at Rs. 18,990, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) now starts at Rs. 33,990, and the Samsung Galaxy J6 now starts at Rs. 10,490. Samsung launched the Galaxy A7 (2018) in India as their first triple-camera sensor smartphone offering back in September 2018. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was launched in India as the "world's first rear quad-camera" which arrived at a price of Rs 36,990 for the 6GB of RAM model.

Looking at the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 23,990 which was the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The Galaxy A7 is now sold for Rs. 18,990 after the price cut. The Galaxy A7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory made its debut in the Indian market for Rs. 28,990. The prices of the Galaxy A7 are now Rs. 22,990.

In the same manner, the Samsung Galaxy A9 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory made its debut in the Indian market for a retail price of Rs. 36,990, is now being sold for Rs. 33,990 after the price cut. The Galaxy A9 was also sold in a second variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage at a price of Rs. 39,990. The prices of the 8GB variant of the Galaxy A9 has been slashed to Rs. 36,990 in the Indian market.

Lastly, Samsung launched the Galaxy J6 in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 14,990 for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage variant which is now sold for Rs. 10,490. The 4GB of RAM was priced at Rs. 16,700 during launch. The Galaxy J6 4GB variant is now priced at Rs. 11,990.

The e-commerce online shopping portal Amazon and also Samsung shopping store online has already listed the Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A9 (2018), and the Galaxy J6 with the new prices. At the time of writing, however, the other major e-commerce online shopping portal Flipkart was still was displaying the older prices. Maybe it will reflect new prices soon.
