Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh threatens to expose: Former India fast bowler sounds firm on revealing major misconduct post the World Cup.
Former India fast bowler Yograj Singh has threatened to expose the real reason behind the retirement of his son Yuvraj Singh. Having played a pivotal part in India’s World Cup victories in 2007 and 2011, Yuvraj had last played for India during India’s tour of West Indies in 2017.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Post Punjabi, Yograj Singh claims that his son has been a victim of “dirty politics” of Indian cricket. Being asked about Yuvraj not retiring from the ground, a fuming Yograj considered it as a conspiracy against his son.

“It happened with Gautam Gambhir. It happened with Virender Sehwag. They were great players. Now it has happened with Yuvraj Singh. It had happened with VVS Laxman as well. I know the reason why all this has happened. Only one individual is responsible for all this,” Yograj was quoted as saying.
While Yograj didn’t mention the name of the “individual”, he sounded firm on making “secrets” public after the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 gets over.
“I don’t want to take his name but he has been playing this dirty politics from the last 15 years. He has made lives difficult for Indian cricketers. I will make this revelation after the World Cup gets over. He will remember this for life that someone said something about him.
“I am not the one who will sit down without saying anything. I always speak the truth. And when I speak the truth, no one speaks in front of me. I don’t want to speaks about him at this point in time because I don’t want the team to get affected during the World Cup,” Yograj said.

Back in 2015, Yograj had blamed former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni for Yuvraj not being included in the Indian team for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. While he hasn’t even once mentioned Dhoni’s name in this interview, it would be interesting to know about his revelations after the World Cup.
Other than talking about Yuvraj’s retirement, Yograj also spoke about his own ouster from the Indian team back in 1981. The 61-year old, who is also a legendary actor in the Punjabi film industry, gave hints at bringing into limelight people who were responsible for the same.
