CLEAN ENERGY XXI. The Minister of Energy Juan Aranguren reported that the first project of round 2 of the RenovAr Program, located in the town of Fashioned Cabrera, province of Córdoba, started operations this week. The company faced the work of the power generation thermal power plant with the aim of finding a solution to a historical problem of the peanut industry: the closing fate of the peanut shell. Clean Energy XXI data indicate that the energy obtained through the transformation of this biomass is incorporated into the National Interconnected System, supplying 18,000 homes per year. To generate this energy, you need approximately 50,000 tons of peanut shell per year.
